Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Reservation

  • Room bookings, equipment rentals and other service booking are confirmed only upon advance request via email, phone, or in-person confirmation.
  • During peak season, we recommend advance booking to ensure room and gear availability.
  • Advance payment required to confirm advance reservations.

2. Check-in / Check-out at Khare

  • Check-in Time: 12:00 PM
  • Check-out Time: 09:00 AM
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an extra charge.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Room Cancellation:
    • Cancellations made more than 7 Days in advance: No charge.
    • Cancellations made less than7 days of check-in: One night’s charge applies.
  • Equipment Rental Cancellation:
    • Cancellations made 1 hours before pickup: Full refund.
    • Cancellations after pickup or use: No refund.
  • No refunds are provided for early checkouts or unused services due to weather, altitude sickness, or personal decisions.

4. Equipment Rental Terms

  • Equipment is rented on a daily basis. Late returns will incur additional charges.
  • All equipment must be returned in the condition it was issued.
  • Any damaged, lost, or broken items will be charged according to the replacement cost.
  • Clients are responsible for checking gear at the time of rental. Once rented, Hotel Mountain View is not liable for any inconvenience during the climb.

5. Liability and Responsibility

  • Hotel Mountain View is not liable for any accidents, injuries, health issues, or loss of belongings during your stay or climbing expedition.
  • All guests and climbers are responsible for their own safety, proper gear use, and health management at high altitude.

6. Health and Altitude

  • Staying in Khare at 5000m requires proper acclimatization. Guests are advised to consult with their guide and follow safe altitude practices.
  • We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or rental service to individuals showing serious signs of altitude illness without proper support.

7. Payment Options

  • We accept Nepali Rupees (NPR) in cash and USD $.
  • Card Payment available with extra 4% Charge
  • All rates are subject to local taxes and service charges.

8. Behavior and Conduct

  • Guests must respect local customs, other guests, staff, and the peaceful environment of Khare.
  • We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave the premises for inappropriate behavior, with no refund.

9. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

  • Weather conditions in the mountains are unpredictable. Hotel Mountain View is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes in travel plans due to natural events.

10. Agreement

By staying at Hotel Mountain View or renting equipment from us, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
